You will formulate, review and enforce technical codes of practice and standards of performance for compliance by gas licensees. You will also assess the adequacy of gas licensees’ safety management plans. Besides auditing gas licensees’ operations for compliance with their respective safety management plans, you will investigate gas incidents.
An honours degree in Mechanical Engineering. You should have good verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of gas system studies and analysis as well as experience in gas transmission and distribution would be an advantage.
Your role is to research into the development of innovative, clean and renewable and sustainable energy and energy market solutions in Singapore. This involves co-ordinating with the energy industries and R&D agencies on research initiatives; initiating projects to test-bed new technologies; and developing policies and standards to implement the energy and energy market solutions. In addition, you will formulate new strategies and initiatives to develop the energy eco-system and promote the energy industries and supporting companies. This encompasses developing business friendly regulatory and fiscal framework for the energy industries.
A good honours degree in Electrical Engineering. You should be a team player with strong analytical, writing and communication skills.
