The ENERGY MARKET AUTHORITY (EMA) promotes competition in the electricity and piped gas industry and maintains the security and reliability of the power system. Our mission is to forge a competitive and secure energy industry for our economy.

    ANALYST
    Your principal responsibility is to contribute to policy making to meet the changing needs of the electricity and gas markets. To this end, you will apply economic principles and analysis to resolve regulatory issues, including the formulation of policies to promote competition among the industry players and to monitor and assess their performance. You will also need to conduct research on best regulatory practices in other countries for implementation in Singapore.
    Candidates are expected to have a good Honours Degree in Economics in areas of economic modelling and fi nance. Team players with strong analytical and writing skills will meet the requirements for the job.
