EMA and JTC Corporation (JTC) launched the Jurong Island Renewable Energy Request for Proposal (RFP) on 25 October 2021 to accelerate the development of clean energy innovations for implementation on the island. Projects will be funded by a S$6 million joint commitment by EMA and JTC.
The RFP is open to the industry including small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and the research community. Funds will be used to support prototyping and demonstration of solutions on Jurong Island. The RFP is focused on three areas: renewable energy, energy storage systems (ESS) and low carbon solutions.
Application for the RFP is open from 25 October 2021 to 24 January 2022. Interested parties can visit the IPI website for more details and download the RFP documents.
