Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Over the years, the power sector has made significant efforts to manage our greenhouse gas emissions. This includes the switch from using petroleum products to natural gas as the main energy source for electricity generation, as well as investments in new and efficient Combined Cycle Gas Turbines (“CCGTs”). Today, about 95% of Singapore's electricity is generated using natural gas, which will continue to be a dominant fuel for Singapore in the near future. It is important that power generation companies continue to improve their energy efficiency to adapt to an increasingly carbon-constrained future.
To support this effort, EMA is launching a second Energy Efficiency Grant Call for Power Generation Companies to continue supporting gencos in improving their overall heat rate of their existing CCGTs and reduce the carbon emissions for each unit of electricity generated.
