Key renewables and gas conferences to debut at SIEW 2012

SIEW 2012 is set to emulate last year’s success by featuring world-class conferences and exhibitions on key energy verticals. More than just a platform to discuss significant energy issues and policy strategies, SIEW continues to be a valuable partner to the world’s leading energy-related conferences.

SIEW’s B2B partners will feature top-notch agendas on key energy sectors such as solar, smart grids, refining and energy trading. Returning to the show will be the PV Asia Pacific Expo, Asia Smart Grid, Downstream Asia and EMART Asia.

Two new events will also make their debut at SIEW this year, focusing on energy verticals that are especially relevant to Asia – alternative energy, and LNG and natural gas.

As renewable energy sources are set to play a bigger role in the overall energy mix of Asian countries including Singapore, the Asia Future Energy Forum will focus on leading-edge sustainable energy governance, business, investment, finance and technology that enable smart delivery of clean energy solutions.

Gas will also feature strongly in Asia’s energy mix. The introduction of Gas Asia Summit Conference and Networking as the Asian edition of Gastech will explore the impact of North American LNG exports to Asian markets and other pertinent challenges.

These dialogues and perspectives will contribute towards “Shaping a New Energy Landscape” at SIEW 2012. Participants will also benefit from deal-making and business development opportunities offered by solutions and technology providers onsite.
