EMA is set to release its annual energy publication, Shaping a New Energy Landscape, in May this year.
Readers will hear from Mr S Iswaran, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade & Industry, regarding the electricity market, LNG, and Singapore's manpower resources.
In addition, the 32-page publication will feature interviews with four Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) energy ministers from Cambodia, Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR), Brunei and Malaysia — all of whom attended the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW) in 2012. In Shaping a New Energy Landscape, they will discuss their perspectives regarding energy security and diversification in their country's energy mix, as well as the need for a framework that enables businesses to invest with confidence.
Shaping a New Energy Landscape will also examine both the long- and short-term impact that the current LNG boom will have on regional economies, job creation and energy security.
The publication will be made available at selected energy events and on www.siew.sg from May 2013.
