Written representations from BG Singapore Gas Marketing Pte Ltd, City Gas Pte Ltd, PacificLight Power Pte Ltd, Singapore Power Ltd, Sembcorp Gas Pte Ltd, Keppel Gas Pte Ltd, YTL PowerSeraya Pte Ltd and Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd were received when the consultation closed on 21 Aug 2015.
EMA has carefully considered the written representations from the respondents and has decided to modify the Code as set out in Appendix 1 in the final determination paper.The proposed Code modifications will come into effect on 1 February 2016.
The consultation has closed for comments.
The Gas Supply Code sets out the obligation of gas licensees to comply with the standards and procedures for the safe and reliable operation of the gas supply system. The Code also describes the rights and obligations of the gas licensees in respect of the conveyance of gas and provision of gas supply.
Pusuant to Clause 1.6 of the Gas Supply Code, EMA seeks representations on the proposed modifications to:
(a) Simplify the regulatory/application processes; and
(b) Enhance the gas network development planning process for the Gas Transporter.
