As part of these initiatives to further enhance engagement, ERD also oversees EMA's annual flagship energy event, the Singapore International Energy Week (SIEW), featuring a comprehensive schedule of energy-focused conferences, exhibitions and meetings.

EMA is stepping up our engagement with energy International Organisations (IOs) to strengthen Singapore's position as an energy thought leader and our relevance in the global energy architecture. This includes our cooperation with the International Energy Agency (IEA) on two key initiatives: (a) the Singapore-IEA Regional Training Hub, which provides energy training programmes to develop industry-specific capabilities in the region, and (b) the Singapore-IEA Forum, which provides a platform for energy stakeholders to engage in a debate on the future of the industry. Besides the IEA, you will also be part of the team responsible for our cooperation with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP), Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL), among others. You should have strong analytical and organisational skills, with a good understanding of and/or experience in international relations and energy. You should also be an excellent communicator and a team player, and be prepared to travel overseas for work. Those with a good command of a second language would have an advantage.
