Written representation from SembcorpGas Pte Ltd and Singapore Power Ltd were received. After careful consideration, EMA has decided to modify the Code as set out in Appendix 1. The proposed Code modifications will come into effect on 1 August 2014.

The Gas Metering Code sets out the obligations of (i) a Gas Shipper who shall provide Meter Data to the Designated Gas Transporter under the Gas Network Code, (ii) the Designated Gas Transporter who owns a Meter Installation and performs balancing and settlement in the Industry; and (iii) aGas Retailer who retails gas to Retail Customers. The Gas Metering Code also addresses matters associated with the production, storage, collection, transmission and verification of Meter Dataf rom all Meter Installations.
Pursuant to Clause 1.6 of the Gas Metering Code, EMA seeks representations on the proposed modifications to the Gas Metering Code asset out in Appendix 1.
