Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. On 8 May 2024, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) and EMA published a public consultation to seek public feedback on proposed legislative amendments to the Energy Market Authority Act, Electricity Act, and Gas Act. The public consultation closed on 5 June 2024. MTI and EMA received about 30 responses from the industry and public.

EMA has received feedback from four respondents by the closing of the consultation on 1 July 2026. Taking into account the feedback received, EMA has decided to modify clauses of the Transmission Code. The proposed modifications will come into effect on 8 September 2026. Please refer to the Decision Paper for details.
The Transmission Code sets out the rights and obligations of the Transmission Licensee, together with the rights and obligations of users of the Transmission System. The Transmission Code also sets out the technical requirements to be met by those who seek to connect and operate installations on the Transmission System, including generating units.
Pursuant to Section 1.6 of the Transmission Code, EMA seeks representations on the proposed modifications to the Transmission Code which are to provide updates and clarity to the technical requirements relating to domestic solar PV generation facilities.
