Shows the annual installed capacity of residential and non-residential grid-connected solar photovoltaic systems by the different user types.
As at end 1Q 2023, the total installed capacity of grid-connected solar PV systems was 903.4 MWp. This was a 9.7% increase from the preceding quarter. The private sector contributed to majority of the solar PV capacity (62.5% or 564.6 MWp), followed by town councils and grassroots units (26.5% or 239.4 MWp). The remaining PV capacity contributions were from public sector agencies (7.1% or 64 MWp) and residential sector (4.1% or 36.6 MWp).
