Power Sector Manpower

Of the 6,380 power sector employees in 2024, the majority (3,540 employees) were technical staff (i.e. engineers, technical officers and technicians). Residents constituted the bulk (92.9%) of the workforce in the power sector in 2024.1 The workforce grew slightly by 0.8% per annum from 2022 to 2024.
